ONE-4Reef is a super-concentrated organic all-in-one reef-keeping solution based on the Modern Reef Proportional Consumption Reef Keeping System. It supplies calcium, alkalinity support, trace elements, organic micro-nutrients, and amino acids in one easy-to-use product, helping maintain a thriving, colourful, and stable reef aquarium.

Now including the advanced Reef Engine Evolved Formula, ONE-4Reef is designed to simplify reef aquarium supplementation while supporting coral colour, growth, vitality, polyp extension, cleaner rocks and sand, clearer water, and improved nutrient balance.

ONE-4Reef is best suited for low- to moderate-consumption reef aquariums, including LPS-dominant systems, soft coral aquariums, and mixed reefs mainly composed of LPS and soft corals. It can also be used in low-demand SPS systems with careful monitoring.

For SPS-dominant aquariums, high-consumption reef systems, or mixed reefs with many Acropora, the Modern Reef RKS 4-canister system remains the recommended primary method. Some Acropora and sensitive SPS corals may not respond optimally to a purely organic supplementation method, while the hybrid organic/inorganic RKS method generally offers better stability, colour, growth, and long-term results.

How to Use

ONE-4Reef can be used alone as a simple organic reef-keeping method in suitable low to moderate consumption aquariums.

Start by dosing:

4 ml per 100 litres daily

Then increase by:

2 ml per 100 litres every 2–4 days

Continue adjusting until calcium and KH remain stable and the aquarium’s maintenance dosage is found.

Test calcium and KH regularly during the adjustment period. Use calcium as the primary reference because the KH contribution from ONE-4Reef may take up to 48 hours to become visible in standard KH test kits.

Do not exceed:

20 ml per 100 litres per day

Dose manually or with an automatic dosing pump. When used alone, ONE-4Reef offers a space-saving solution with one canister and one dosing pump.

To complement the system, use Complete Reef Fuel — formerly known as Complete Reef Food — and Polypop according to the total ONE-4Reef dosage.

Important

ONE-4Reef should be considered a form of organic carbon dosing. Due to bacterial activity from organic dosing, it may reduce nutrients such as NO3 and PO4.

In low-nutrient reef aquariums, monitor NO3 and PO4 regularly and dose Modern Reef N+ and P+ if needed.

If using another carbon source, such as Modern Reef C+, reduce or stop that dosing when using ONE-4Reef.

The KH contribution from ONE-4Reef may take up to 48 hours to become visible in standard KH test kits. During adjustment, calcium should be used as the main reference point, and fast changes based only on a single KH reading should be avoided.
